World Discoveries and Events

Turn over the hidden props of Azeroth, play under a rotating world buff, and fight holiday bosses that meet you at your level.

Status: LIVE — world discoveries, the seasonal and daily aura cycle, and the custom-scaled Brewfest and Hallow’s End encounters are active. Limited placement: 161 discovery templates, including all 25 weapon caches, have no permanent spawn. Disabled: Midsummer/Ahune scaling is code-only and is not part of the current live holiday rotation.

At a glance

  • World Discoveries: 391 templates, 230 placed object types, and 539 live spawn points in the current world data.
  • Not placed: 161 templates have no permanent spawn, including all 25 weapon caches and 22 object types from the newest 1–20 wave.
  • Newest wave: 60 low-level object types, 38 placed, with 28 new bind-on-pickup uncommons. Seventeen of those 28 items are currently reachable.
  • Weapon caches: 25 BoP uncommon weapons covering levels 8–22. They have no permanent world spawns and are staff/event-only until placed.
  • Discovery XP: 20–120 for the newer 2–12 templates and 50–600 for the older 5–60 templates, before your personal XP rate and buffs.
  • Claim rule: once per character per individual spawn, not once per object type. The first item or coin looted claims it.
  • TimeCycle: one seasonal aura and one daily aura, refreshed every 60 seconds, on all maps, for players and NPCBots.
  • Seasonal auras: Springtide Renewal, Suncrest Vigor, Harvest Boon, Winter’s Resilience.
  • Daily auras: Dawn’s Focus, Solar Zeal, Dusk’s Harmony, Moonveil Insight.
  • Holiday scaling: Coren Direbrew and the Headless Horseman start at level 60; brackets are 60/70/80. Ahune would start at 70, but is not live.
  • No player command: there is no .discovery, .season, .holiday, or player .event command for these systems.

How to use world discoveries and events

  1. No unlock is required for discoveries. Walk up to a small prop, crate, statue, stump, cactus, fence piece, or gear pile and right-click it.
  2. Loot at least one item or coin. Opening and closing the loot window does not claim the discovery and does not reroll its contents.
  3. Watch for the confirmation. A successful claim prints World Discovery: <name>. and awards the template’s XP, unless you are at max level, XP-disabled, dead, or teleporting.
  4. Check your buff bar for TimeCycle. The seasonal and daily auras are automatic. Hover the icons to see the current effects.
  5. For holiday bosses, bring a level-appropriate walk-in group. Coren and the Horseman can scale from 60; their LFG versions are fixed at the 80 bracket.
  6. Check the whole map, not just your group. The holiday bracket is set by the highest non-GM player anywhere on the same map. An unrelated level 80 in Blackrock Depths can push Coren to level 83.
  7. Do not camp a weapon cache. All 25 caches are unplaced. Unless staff announce an event, there is nothing to find.
  8. Expect some catalogue names to be missing. The 22 currently unplaced object types are listed below so you do not waste time hunting them.

World Discoveries

The live system

World Discoveries are lootable world objects, not quests, currencies, reputations, or vendors. They are shared objects with independent per-character claims. The system has several generations of content:

Template rangeWaveTemplatesPlaced typesNot placedSpawnsXP before personal rates
990200–990589Older world discoveries186929421150–600

996160–996184Weapon caches25025020–120
Total391230161539

Placed types means a template with at least one live spawn. A type may have several spawn points. The 230 placed types are not 230 templates; they are spread across 539 individual objects.

The counts above are the current world data. They are useful for setting expectations, but the live gameobject table is authoritative. If staff place or remove objects, the numbers change.

Where the discoveries are

  • Older 990200 wave: 211 spawns across the old world and Outland, with 92 of its 186 types placed. These carry the larger 50–600 XP range.
  • Starter 995000 wave: fully placed, 80 types and 163 spawns across the starting zones, including Eversong Woods, Teldrassil, Azuremyst Isle, Elwynn Forest, Tirisfal Glades, Durotar, Mulgore, and Dun Morogh.
  • Level 1–20 996000 wave: 20 of 40 types placed, with 41 spawns in low-level zones.
  • Newest 996100 wave: 38 of 60 types placed, with 124 spawns in Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, Durotar, The Barrens, Tirisfal Glades, and Azuremyst Isle.
  • Weapon caches: no permanent spawns anywhere.

There are no Northrend discovery spawns. The current spawn maps are the Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and map 530, which covers Azuremyst Isle, Eversong Woods, and Outland. The newest 1–20 wave is concentrated in the six low-level zones listed above.

There are no map markers, no tracking UI, and no quest text. Look for small interactive props near quest hubs, farms, coasts, ruins, roads, and starter-zone edges. Some are low to the ground and easy to miss.

What the newest 1–20 wave placed

The 996100–996159 wave contains 60 object types. Thirty-eight are currently placed:

  • Scenery (16): Loose Fence Rail, Weathered Fence Post, Weathered Signboard, Cactus with Ripe Fruit, Prickly Cactus, Old Tree Stump, River Stone, Small Copper Outcrop, Abandoned Nest, Animal Bones, Sandstone Rubble, Discarded Iron Gear, Discarded Bucket, Weathered Gravestone, Flowering Cactus, Old Fishing Net.
  • Equipment and jewelry (12): Woodcutter’s Axe, Notched Hatchet, Worn Buckler, Wooden Round Shield, Pointed Cloth Hat, Leather Hunting Hat, Scratched Mail Cap, Copper Pendant, Blue Glass Pendant, Red Stone Pendant, Plain Gemstone Band, Red Glass Ring.
  • Statues and figurines (10): Small Stone Idol, Lion Statuette, Human Soldier Figurine, Forsaken Guard Figurine, Goblin Statuette, Stone Bird Figurine, Carved Snake Statuette, Jaguar Statuette, Dark Iron Dwarf Statuette, Small Elven Statue.

The following 22 types are not currently placed. Do not camp them:

Low Stone Fence, Fallen Tree Log, Rusted Lantern, Broken Fence Panel, Washed-up Driftwood, Cracked Stone Urn, Fallen Pine Cone, Damaged Supply Cart; Militia Spear, Hunting Pike, Balanced Handaxe, Iron Battleaxe, Iron-rimmed Shield, Dented Kite Shield, Militia Helm, Blue Stone Necklace, Dark Stone Ring, Pale Stone Ring; Dwarf Warrior Statuette, Elven Mage Statuette, Ranger Statuette, Stone Guardian Figurine.

The count is 38 placed, 22 unplaced, 60 total for the object half of the wave. The separate 25 weapon caches are also all unplaced.

Rewards in the newest wave

The 996100 wave adds 28 new bind-on-pickup uncommon items: six weapons, four shields, four helms, eight necklaces/rings, and six trinkets. They are modest fixed-stat items, not scaling epics.

KindTotalCurrently reachable
Weapons62

Helms43
Necklaces and rings85
Trinkets65
Total2817

Eleven of the 28 items are tied to object types that are not currently placed. The 25 weapon caches add another 25 BoP uncommon weapons, all currently unavailable unless staff place them.

The six trinkets are the most distinctive rewards. All are BoP, have a two-minute cooldown, and share the normal on-use trinket cooldown. They have one passive stat and one on-use effect.

TrinketRequired levelPassiveOn use
Wooden Healing Charm5+1 SpiritRestore 30 health
Small Defender’s Token9+1 StaminaAbsorb 40 damage for up to 10 sec
Carved Lion Charm10+1 Strength+12 attack power for 8 sec
Carved Bird Charm12+1 Agility+10% movement speed for 6 sec
Pewter Prayer Token14+2 IntellectRestore 45 mana
Iron Ward Charm20+3 Stamina+90 armor for 8 sec

Five of the six are reachable through placed statue objects. Pewter Prayer Token is the exception: its object type, Elven Mage Statuette, is one of the 22 unplaced types.

The older waves have their own reward pools. They are not catalogued item-by-item here because they span multiple generations; the claim rules and XP multiplier are the same.

Claim rules

  • Per character, per individual spawn. Each placed object has a saved spawn ID. Looting one River Stone does not lock the other River Stones, and it does not lock the same object for your alt.
  • The first item or coin claims it. You do not have to empty the object. Once a real item or money is looted, the claim is recorded and the XP is awarded.
  • Opening is not claiming. Close the window without looting and nothing is claimed. The contents do not reroll, so there is no reason to reopen for a different result.
  • The object is shared, the claim is not. Other players can loot the same object independently. There is no first-come lockout and no daily or weekly reset.
  • Alts are separate characters. They can claim the same individual spawn again. Claims are not account-wide.
  • No reset command. There is no daily reset, weekly reset, token, or vendor that restores a claimed discovery.
  • Full bags do not force a claim. If you cannot loot an item, you have not claimed the discovery. Clear space and come back; the contents should still be there.
  • Bad timing still costs the claim. If you are at max level, XP-disabled, dead, or teleporting when the claim triggers, you can still consume the claim while earning no XP.

Discovery XP

Discovery XP uses a 10x multiplier on the template’s stored range, and exploration XP is 1x. The template’s stored minimum and maximum are multiplied by that 10x value.

  • Older 990200 templates: stored 5–60, so 50–600 XP before your personal XP rate and other XP bonuses.
  • Newer templates: stored 2–12, so 20–120 XP before your personal XP rate and other XP bonuses.
  • The XP is a flat template range, not a level-scaled reward. A level 60 character does not get more from a 20–120 discovery than a level 10 character does, aside from their XP modifiers.
  • Springtide Renewal adds 10% XP, and Dawn’s Focus adds another 2–5% while active. Personal .xp rates apply on top.
  • Max level and XP-disabled characters do not receive discovery XP, but the claim is still consumed.

Weapon caches (Staff/event-only)

The 25 weapon caches use templates 996160–996184. They are fully built and have their own guaranteed weapon loot, but none has a permanent world spawn. They are not part of the normal leveling loop, not sold by a vendor, and not a quest reward.

Each cache guarantees exactly one matching BoP uncommon weapon. The caches cover every required level from 8 through 22.

19Iron Hook Axe
20Broad Iron Greataxe; Blue-gripped Pike
21Tempered Footman’s Sword; Redstone Prayer Mace
22Plain Steel Greatsword; Iron-capped Quarterstaff
  • Item level: 13–27.
  • Quality: uncommon, bind-on-pickup.
  • Claim: the same per-character, per-spawn rules apply if staff place a cache.
  • Proficiency: your class weapon proficiency still applies. A cache does not teach a weapon skill.
  • Availability: staff/event-only until a permanent spawn is added. Do not wait at a spawn point.

Seasonal and daily auras (TimeCycle)

TimeCycle applies one seasonal aura and one daily aura at the same time. It does not stack two auras from the same category. The auras are applied on login, zone change, and map change, and are refreshed every 60 seconds. They apply to players and NPCBots on all maps, including dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, and arenas.

The schedule uses server-local date and time, not UTC and not your client’s clock. There is no player toggle.

Seasonal rotation

SeasonDatesAuraEffect
SpringMarch 1–April 30Springtide Renewal+10% XP, +5% reputation, minor health regeneration
SummerMay 1–August 31Suncrest Vigor+15% mounted speed, +5% Spirit, +15% honor gain
AutumnSeptember 1–November 14Harvest Boon8% chance of an extra crafted item, 10% chance of bonus cloth, +3% damage versus beasts
WinterNovember 15–end of FebruaryWinter’s Resilience+5% Stamina; below 50% health, a 10% damage reduction for 5 sec

Harvest Boon has additional rules:

  • The 8% extra crafted item roll applies to profession crafting, not gathering. It requires bag space. When it succeeds, you see Finesse!; if your bags are full, the bonus is lost.
  • The 10% bonus cloth roll applies to eligible creature loot, not cloth nodes. It adds 1–2 cloth. Critters and creatures more than five levels below you are excluded.
  • Bonus cloth follows creature level: linen 1–18, wool 19–28, silk 29–38, mageweave 39–48, runecloth 49–63, netherweave 64–73, frostweave 74+.
  • The aura also carries a minor +3% damage versus beasts, even though the buff tooltip is terse.

Winter’s Resilience is defensive, not a heal. Below 50% health, Frostforged Resolve reduces damage taken by 10% for 5 seconds and refreshes every second while you remain below 50%. It drops once you are back above the threshold.

Daily rotation

Server timeAuraEffect
04:00–09:59Dawn’s Focus+2–5% XP, −10% mana cost
10:00–15:59Solar Zeal+3% damage, +5% movement speed, +3% healing
16:00–20:59Dusk’s Harmony+3% dodge, +10% reputation, +3% parry
21:00–03:59Moonveil Insight+2% spell hit, +2% hit, −5% damage taken

The daily aura is the last scheduled entry at or before the current time. Before 04:00, Moonveil Insight from the previous evening remains active. At 04:00 it switches to Dawn’s Focus.

How the buffs behave

  • Two auras at once: one season plus one time of day. Spring + Dawn’s Focus is possible; Spring + Summer is not.
  • All maps: the live configuration does not exclude raids, so the auras also apply in raids and PvP instances. Check your buffs before a pull or an arena match.
  • NPCBots are included. Bot groups receive the same seasonal and daily effects.
  • The buffs return. Removing an aura manually does not opt you out; it is reapplied on the next refresh, login, or map change.
  • No player command. There is no way to choose a season, force a daily aura, or turn the system off.

Holiday encounters

What is live

Brewfest and Hallow’s End are the two holidays in the current custom-scaled rotation. Their bosses use the custom bracket system. Midsummer/Ahune has the same scaling code, but it is not part of the current live rotation.

Other holidays may run as normal game events, but they do not use this custom bracket scaling. Event announcements are off, so the server does not advertise the start with a popup.

Bracket rules

  • Minimum level: Coren Direbrew and the Headless Horseman require 60. Ahune would require 70 if enabled.
  • Bracket source: the highest non-GM player on the same map, not the same group. NPCBots are ignored.
  • Brackets: 60, 70, or 80. The bracket is chosen when the encounter starts and does not rescale if a higher-level player arrives later.
  • LFG versions: the dedicated holiday LFG versions force the 80 bracket. Walk-in groups use the map bracket.
  • Health bonus: Coren, the Horseman, and the Horseman’s Head receive +15% health at the 60 and 70 brackets. They do not receive it at 80.
  • Loot mode: 60 uses loot mode 4, 70 uses 2, and 80 uses 1. This selects the appropriate bracket loot table.
  • Adds: managed event adds scale to the bracket at +0 levels. Only the bosses have level offsets.
BracketLoot modeCoren DirebrewHeadless Horseman / HeadAhune / Frozen Core

The boss’s health, damage, and spells are rebuilt for the bracket. At the 80 bracket, Coren is level 83 and the Horseman is level 82; they are intentionally harder than their stock versions.

Brewfest: Coren Direbrew

  • Boss: Coren Direbrew, entry 23872.
  • Location: the Grim Guzzler in Blackrock Depths.
  • Start: talk to Coren and choose the fight option. The encounter begins from his gossip menu.
  • Level check: below 60, Coren refuses with You must be at least level 60 to challenge Coren.
  • Availability: Brewfest, or the dedicated holiday LFG queue.
  • Adds: Dark Iron Antagonist 23795, Ilsa Direbrew 26764, Dark Iron Minion 26776, Ursula Direbrew 26822.
  • Bracket: 60/70/80, for boss levels 63/73/83. The LFG version is always 80.
  • Loot: the bracket’s Brewfest loot table. The 60 and 70 brackets also give Coren 15% extra health.

Do not assume a level-60 group will get the 60 bracket. If any non-GM level 80 is anywhere in Blackrock Depths when Coren starts, the encounter uses the 80 bracket.

Hallow’s End: the Headless Horseman

  • Boss: Headless Horseman, entry 23682; his Head is 23775.
  • Location: the pumpkin shrine in the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard.
  • Start: use the shrine during Hallow’s End to summon him.
  • Availability: active Hallow’s End, or the dedicated holiday LFG queue.
  • Adds: Pulsing Pumpkin 23694, Pumpkin Fiend 23545.
  • Bracket: 60/70/80, for boss levels 62/72/82. The LFG version is always 80.
  • Loot: the bracket’s Hallow’s End loot table. The 60 and 70 brackets also give the Horseman and his Head 15% extra health.

The Head is part of the same encounter and uses the same health adjustment at 60 and 70. Kill both phases normally; the custom scaling does not add a new mechanic.

Midsummer/Ahune (code-only)

Ahune’s scaling is present in the build, but the encounter is not part of the current live holiday rotation. If staff enable Midsummer, these are the intended rules:

  • Bosses: Ahune 25740 (normal) or 26338 (heroic); Frozen Core 25865.
  • Location: the Slave Pens in Coilfang Reservoir.
  • Minimum level: 70. There is no 60 bracket for Ahune.
  • Brackets: 70 or 80, for boss levels 72 or 82.
  • Health bonus: none. Ahune and the Frozen Core do not receive the Coren/Horseman +15% health adjustment.
  • Loot mode: 2 at the 70 bracket, 1 at the 80 bracket.
  • LFG: the holiday LFG version forces the 80 bracket.
  • Adds: Hailstone 25755, Coldwave 25756, Frostwind 25757.

Until Midsummer is actually enabled, do not plan a group around Ahune. The code existing is not the same as the event being live.

There is no discovery NPC, no TimeCycle NPC, and no custom event vendor. The pumpkin shrine is a game object, not an NPC. Standard holiday vendors and event NPCs are unchanged.

Tips

  • Loot one item or coin to claim. Do not open a discovery, look at the loot, and close it expecting a reroll.
  • Bring alts to the same spawn. Claims are per character per spawn. An alt can loot the same object again.
  • Clear bag space first. If you cannot loot anything, you have not claimed, and you can return later.
  • Do not hunt unplaced names. The 22 unplaced expansion types and all 25 weapon caches are not findable in normal play.
  • Old discoveries are the XP prize. The 990200 wave awards 50–600 base XP; the newer 1–20 waves award 20–120. The older objects are worth a detour if the zone is safe.
  • Stack Springtide and Dawn’s Focus. Spring gives +10% XP; Dawn’s Focus gives +2–5% more. Both are automatic.
  • Use Summer for travel and honor. Suncrest Vigor gives mounted speed and +15% honor gain.
  • Craft during Autumn. Harvest Boon’s 8% extra-item roll is free value, but leave bag space and watch for Finesse!.
  • Winter is for survival. The 10% damage reduction only exists below 50% health; it is not a substitute for healing.
  • The daily aura changes at 04:00. Before that, Moonveil Insight from the previous evening is still active.
  • TimeCycle follows you into PvP and raids. It is not disabled there; check the buff before a serious pull or match.
  • Holiday brackets are map-wide. Split from an unrelated level 80 in the same dungeon, or accept the 80 bracket.
  • The LFG version is always 80. For a 60 or 70 bracket, use a walk-in group and make sure no higher-level player is on the map.
  • The 60 and 70 brackets are not easier in every way. Coren and the Horseman get 15% extra health there, even though their levels are lower.

Limits and configuration

World Discoveries

  • 391 templates across five generations: 186 older, 80 starter, 40 level 1–20, 60 expansion, 25 weapon caches.
  • 230 placed types and 539 spawns in the current world data. 161 templates are unplaced, including 94 older, 20 level 1–20, 22 expansion, and all 25 caches.
  • The newest 1–20 object wave: 38 of 60 types placed. The 22 unplaced types are listed above.
  • The newest reward pool: 28 BoP uncommons; 17 are reachable and 11 are tied to unplaced types.
  • Weapon caches: 25 BoP uncommons, item level 13–27, required level 8–22, no permanent spawns.
  • Claim scope: per character per saved spawn ID; no account-wide claim, no daily reset, no weekly reset.
  • Claim trigger: the first item or money looted. Opening alone does nothing and does not reroll.
  • Claim consumption: max-level, XP-disabled, dead, and teleporting characters can consume a claim without earning XP.
  • XP: 50–600 for the older 5–60 templates and 20–120 for the newer 2–12 templates, before personal XP rate and buffs.
  • All discovery equipment is bind-on-pickup. Plan around your own characters, not trades.
  • No player command, marker, quest, vendor, currency, or reset.
  • No Northrend spawns.

TimeCycle

  • One seasonal and one daily aura at a time; no same-category stacking.
  • 60-second refresh; applied on login, zone change, and map change.
  • All maps, including raids, dungeons, battlegrounds, and arenas.
  • Players and NPCBots receive the auras; ordinary NPCs do not.
  • Server-local time; the season is based on the server’s month and day, not the client’s.
  • No forced season. The live cycle follows its normal seasonal rotation.
  • Season boundaries: spring March 1, summer May 1, autumn September 1, winter November 15.
  • Daily boundaries: 04:00, 10:00, 16:00, and 21:00. Before 04:00, Moonveil remains.
  • Harvest Boon: 8% extra crafted item, 10% chance of 1–2 bonus cloth, +3% damage versus beasts. Extra cloth is limited to eligible creatures within five levels; critters are excluded.
  • Winter’s Resolve: below 50% health, −10% damage taken for 5 sec, refreshed every second while below 50%.
  • No player toggle or command.

Holiday encounters

  • Minimum level: 60 for Coren and the Horseman; 70 for Ahune if it is ever enabled.
  • Brackets: 60, 70, 80, chosen from the highest non-GM player on the same map.
  • NPCBots and GMs are ignored for bracket selection.
  • No rescale: the bracket is fixed when the encounter starts.
  • LFG versions: fixed at the 80 bracket for Coren, the Horseman, and Ahune.
  • Level offsets: Coren +3; Horseman, Head, Ahune, and Frozen Core +2; managed adds +0.
  • Health bonus: +15% for Coren, the Horseman, and the Head at the 60 and 70 brackets only.
  • Loot modes: 4 at 60, 2 at 70, 1 at 80.
  • Current live rotation: Brewfest and Hallow’s End only.
  • Code-only: Midsummer/Ahune. Its level-70 minimum, 70/80 brackets, and loot modes are implemented but not active.
  • No custom event dates. Use the normal holiday window.
  • No server-wide announcement. Watch the calendar or ask in chat.
  • No player event command, bracket selector, or difficulty toggle.

Admin note

World Discoveries. The live multiplier is WorldDiscoveries.XPMultiplier=10.0 with Rate.XP.Explore=1. The 391 world_discovery_template rows break down as 186 at 5–60, 80 at 2–12, 40 at 2–12, 60 at 2–12, and 25 weapon caches at 2–12. Current world data has 230 placed types, 539 spawns, and 161 unplaced templates: 94 in 990200–990589, 20 in 996000–996039, 22 in 996100–996159, and all 25 in 996160–996184. The 995000–995079 starter wave is fully placed. The 22 unplaced expansion objects are listed in the player section; keep that list in sync with gameobject if placements change. Claims are stored per character and per saved spawn GUID, are not account-wide, and are removed with the character. Recheck the live gameobject table before publishing a placement count, because the dump is only a snapshot.

TimeCycle. TimeCycle.Enabled=1, Seasonal.Enabled=1, Daily.Enabled=1, ExcludeRaids=0, UpdateIntervalMs=60000, and Season.Force=none. Seasonal spell IDs are 300339 (Springtide Renewal), 300340 (Suncrest Vigor), 300341 (Harvest Boon), and 300342 (Winter’s Resilience). Daily IDs are 300344 (Dawn’s Focus), 300345 (Solar Zeal), 300346 (Dusk’s Harmony), and 300347 (Moonveil Insight), scheduled as 04:00,300344;10:00,300345;16:00,300346;21:00,300347. Harvest Boon uses 300341 as its enable marker, with an 8% extra-craft roll and a 10% cloth roll; the cloth tiers and the five-level eligibility check are in the module. Winter’s Resolve is 300343, applies below 50% health, lasts 5 seconds, and refreshes every second. Do not repurpose 300341; the module uses it as a marker. Auras apply to players and NPCBots, including in raids and PvP instances.

Holiday scaling. HolidayEncounter::SelectBracket uses a minimum of 60 for Coren and the Horseman and 70 for Ahune. It selects the highest non-GM player on the same map, ignores NPCBots, and is called when the encounter starts. LFG paths force bracket 80. Level offsets are +3 for Coren, +2 for the Horseman, Head, Ahune, and Frozen Core, and +0 for managed adds. Coren, the Horseman, and the Head receive +15% health at brackets 60 and 70 only. Loot modes are 4/2/1 for 60/70/80. The managed entries are Coren 23872, adds 23795/26764/26776/26822; Horseman 23682, Head 23775, adds 23694/23545; Ahune 25740/26338, Frozen Core 25865, adds 25755/25756/25757.

Live state and placement. Only Brewfest and Hallow’s End are in the current custom-scaled rotation. Midsummer/Ahune code is present but not enabled; if it is enabled, test the 70/80 brackets and the forced-80 LFG path before announcing it. Event.Announce=0, so there is no automatic event popup. The 25 weapon caches require a GM placement such as .gobject add; if they are placed, their claims still follow the saved spawn GUID rules, and a new spawn ID is a new claim. Adding permanent spawns changes the 391/230/539/161 counts and the player-facing unplaced list, so update this document, index.md, and the admin appendix together.
