Reagent Bank

One account-wide materials stash that follows every character on the account, with search, crafting plans, restock lists, and an Auction House shopping list.

Status: LIVE — the account-wide reagent bank and its client UI are enabled. Disabled: sharing between accounts.

At a glance

  • Account-wide: every character on the same account sees the same reagent bank.
  • No banker required: open it from anywhere with /rbank.
  • No item-count cap: the bank is limited by storage, not by a per-account slot count.
  • Supports trade goods and gems. Unique items cannot be stored.
  • Auto-deposit can move eligible reagents out of your bags automatically.
  • Search works by name or item ID, and includes stored items that are not on the current page.
  • Three layouts: Classic, ElvUI, and Modern.
  • Sharing: Disabled. You cannot open another player’s reagent bank.

How to use

  1. Type /rbank to open the bank. /reagentbank and /rbankui do the same thing.
  2. Use Deposit All Reagents to move eligible trade goods and gems from your bags. You can also deposit individual stacks.
  3. Use the category rail or search to find a material. Search accepts two or more characters of an item name or an exact numeric item ID.
  4. Click a stack to withdraw it, or use the stack controls to withdraw a partial amount.
  5. Turn on auto-deposit if you want eligible reagents to leave your bags automatically. Turn it off when you are carrying materials for a quest or a trade.
  6. Use /rbank plan <count> to check what you need for a recipe or a batch. Use /rbank craft <count> to see what you can craft from current stock.
  7. Use /rbank lowstock <count> to list materials below a threshold, then /rbank ahlist to build a shopping list.

The bank is not a guild bank. It is personal to the account, not to a character or a guild.

NPC references

NameEntryLocationRole
Ling290011No confirmed static spawn in the current world dataOptional reagent banker NPC

You do not need Ling or any banker to use the bank. The NPC is an alternate access point when placed by staff. If you cannot find Ling, use /rbank.

Tips

  • Search before you buy. Account-wide storage means an alt may already have the ore, cloth, or dust you need.
  • Use plan and craft together. plan tells you what a batch needs; craft tells you what you can already make.
  • Keep auto-deposit off while questing in crafting zones. Some quests expect materials to remain in your bags.
  • Use the Modern layout if you scroll a lot. It prefetches the next page and keeps a persistent category rail.
  • The 15-row page is deliberate. The client UI expects 15 visible rows. Do not ask staff to raise it; use search instead.
  • /rbank undo is for immediate mistakes. It is not a full transaction history.
  • Gems are supported, but unique items are not. If an item refuses to deposit, check whether it is unique.
  • The bank is not shared between accounts. Trading materials still requires mail or a direct trade.

Limits and configuration

  • Account-wide: yes.
  • Sharing: no. EnableSharing=0.
  • Auto-migration: on.
  • Page size: 15 items.
  • Storage cap: none per account.
  • Eligible items: trade goods and gems, except unique items.
  • NPC access: Ling (290011) is optional; no confirmed static spawn.
  • Cross-account access: not available.
  • Guild bank integration: none; this is a separate personal account bank.

Admin note

Live config: ReagentBankAccount.Enable=1, AccountWide=1, AutoMigrate=1, MaxItemsPerPage=15, EnableSharing=0, EmptyOnStartup=0. Keep MaxItemsPerPage at 15 or lower; the bundled ReagentBankUI has 15 visible rows and the server clamps larger values. The hidden .rbank request protocol is an addon/server implementation detail, not a player command. Ling is entry 290011; the SQL exists, but there is no confirmed static spawn in the current world data, so do not advertise a fixed location.
