Quartermaster Ledger
A remote quartermaster shopping ledger. The code is present and complete, but the feature is switched off on the live realm.
Status: DISABLED — the ledger is installed but switched off. You cannot use it in normal play. Use a normal quartermaster NPC.
At a glance
- Live status: disabled.
- What it would do: browse quartermaster vendors from anywhere, spend the correct currency, and buy remote items.
- Results per page: eight.
- Confirmation: a 30-second confirmation window before a purchase.
- Player commands:
/qml,/quartermasters, and/qml disable//qml enable. - NPC required: none when enabled. It reads existing quartermaster vendors.
- Current workaround: visit the faction quartermaster in person.
What the ledger is for
Quartermaster vendors sell gear, recipes, mounts, and cosmetic items for badges, marks, honor, or other currencies. A normal quartermaster requires you to travel to a capital city or a faction hub, open the vendor, and buy in person.
The Quartermaster Ledger was built to put those vendors in one remote window:
- Browse the vendor list.
- Filter to a faction or vendor.
- See costs in the correct currency.
- Buy a remote item after a confirmation.
- Turn the ledger off or on for your character.
On the live realm, none of that is available because the module is disabled. The commands may exist in the build, but the ledger will not open or complete a purchase.
How to use it today
You cannot. Use the normal route:
- Find the quartermaster for the faction or expansion you need.
- Check the currency in your character sheet.
- Buy the item in person.
- If you cannot find the right quartermaster, ask a guard in a capital city for directions.
Do not send gold or currency to another player expecting a ledger purchase. The feature is off.

NPC references
No custom Quartermaster Ledger NPC is required. When enabled, the ledger would read existing quartermaster vendors. On live, use the standard faction quartermasters and vendor NPCs.
Tips
- Use the currency tab before you travel. Quartermasters often want badges, marks, or honor, not gold.
- Check reputation requirements. A quartermaster may refuse a purchase until you reach the required reputation.
- Do not confuse this with the Auction House. The ledger is for fixed quartermaster stock, not player listings.
- Do not expect remote purchases through an addon. The client addon is present, but the server switch is off.
- If staff announce an event vendor, use the vendor in person. Event NPCs are not part of the disabled ledger.
Limits and configuration
- Live switch: off.
- Remote purchase: unavailable.
- Currency spending: unavailable through the ledger.
- Page size: eight results when enabled.
- Confirmation: 30 seconds when enabled.
- NPC: no dedicated NPC.
- Player workaround: normal quartermaster vendors.
- Addon: installed but non-functional against a disabled server module.

Admin note
Live config: QuartermasterLedger.Enable=0. The module and client addon are installed, and the command surface is /qml, /quartermasters, /qml disable, and /qml enable. It uses an eight-result page and a 30-second purchase confirmation. Do not enable it without reviewing currency duplication, vendor reputation checks, and remote-purchase logging. If it is enabled later, update this document from Disabled to Live and retest a currency purchase on a copied character.
